Ioana Filip, pen name I.D.Filip , is a global creative advertising executive, a new fiction writer, wife and mom of a whippet.

For more than 18 years she's been leading creative work for major global Fortune 500 companies in more than 100 markets worldwide, lived in the US, UK and Romania (where she was also born), won over 100 international creative awards, including gold in the famous Cannes Lions festival or Clio Awards and was repeatedly named in the top 10 most awarded creative executives in the United States.

She writes fiction that focuses on timeless women's tensions, but with a timely spin to the context where each story takes place. In all her writing, Ioana embraces her immigrant background and creates a space for expressions or colloquialisms that will sound unique to native speakers. She does that deliberately.

While her stories take on serious topics that will focus on subjects like body positivity, relationships, family or debates around pro-choice, they are always written through a light heart lense and tone, as life should be many times looked at, no matter the challenges.
